Mtlexs CEO Shares Dias with Maharashtra Industries Minister at World of Metals

Mtlexs successfully participated at the World of Metals event held in Mumbai, India on September 13-15, 2015. During the event Mtlexs officials were present at the event for interaction.
Mtlexs CEO Suneel Mardia made a presentation at the event on topic “’Use of IT as an Enabler to Aggregate All Industry Members for the Overall Benefit of the Industry”. Following this, the Maharashtra Industries Minister Subhash Desai gave his address at the event.
Topics discussed during the event include metal consumption in India as compared to China. While China is the largest consumer of metals with approximate 45 to 50 per cent of global consumption, India accounts for only 3 to 5 per cent.
Further, issues such as inverse rate of duty, import rules on scrap, poor infrastructure and bank interest in India as compared to China, Gulf, USA and European Union were also discussed.
