Mtlexs Partner BMR Successfully Concluded Battery Recycling Conference & Expo
Battery and Recycling Foundation International, specialists in battery technology and recycling of used batteries organized and hosted the 8th International Battery Expo and Recycling Conference in the beautiful seaside Marriott Resort in Goa, India on 9th-11th January2017.
IBRX India was a 3-day event, which featured battery manufacturers exhibition back to back with a buyer-seller networking.
The event brought together leading battery manufacturers along with experts from the waste management and recycling industry from all over the world.
The conference catered to global participants from India, USA, Europe and Asia, i.e. China, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Middle East and African regions.
Engr. Salam Al Sharif, Sharif Group Chairman, BIR Chairman for the Ambassadors Committee and BMR President joined the eminent speakers as he delivered a presentation on “LeadRecyclingintheMiddleEast” and share why Lead Battery is considered as an Urban Mine and how a primitive industry has becomea world leading industry where batteries were 100% being recycled in facilities with environmental compliance; bringing post consumer and end-of life batteries to same products which is perfect example of a circular economy!
Engr. Salam Al Sharif has taken the opportunity to invite the delegates to attend the 6th edition of BMR International Conference in Dubai to be held on 04-05 March 2017, and the next BIR 2017 conventions in Hong Kong (May) and New Delhi (October).
